The devastation is overwhelming. Over 100,000 people dead, 50,000 children immediately orphaned. The people of Haiti are desperate for help, healing and comfort. It is only found in Jesus. And it’s carried by His Church.
It’s not over. It won’t be for a long time… we have a tendency in crisis to try to move past it, move on, move on to things that aren’t so heavy and hard. But the people of Haiti aren’t moving on… not yet. What may seem like old news to us, is not for them. Their road has just begun.
We have never asked for money… but we are now. Not for us… but for the devistated people of Haiti. So, with that, ANY and ALL money that is put into the tithe box during the month of January will be sent to Samaritans Purse (Franklin Graham, Operation Christmas Child ect..) to provide food, clean water, shelter, medicine and the Gospel to these dear people.
We have raised $2,400 so far in two services (Thurs and Sun)!!! Praise Jesus.
