VCA School Closing - CCOF Relocating

Valley Christian Academy (the school we meet in) is CLOSING. Here is the letter the principal of the school sent out this morning:

“Dear Faithful Supporters of Valley Christian Academy:

It is with deeply saddened hearts that the Board of Trustees of Valley Christian Academy must announce our plans to close the school for the 2009/2010 school year.

It is the school’s mission to glorify God in all that we do. Both current and past board members have endeavored to do just that even as the economic condition of the region has deteriorated beyond belief.

Despite heroic efforts by parents, staff and administrators, the declining enrollment and increasing costs of operation have placed the school in a financially paralyzing position. To open the school again would only exacerbate the problem - not help it.

Our prayers continue to be with each family and each student as we all work through God’s plans for our futures.”

While this is sad to us, we are certain that our KING has gone before us in this... it did NOT catch Him off guard. And actually it didn’t really catch us off guard either....We have heard Him leading us to look for another place for some time. So please pray with us for God's direction and leading. For wisdom in making decisions and that His name would be held up for all to see. We will make further announcements as information becomes available.

One last note.... a very important one.... don't miss it.... we are NOT for ANY REASON canceling church.... so we will see you Sunday's and Thursday's at VCA until further notice.
